The Dutch-Indian Student Fund

We provide loans for students in India who don't have the means to pay their College or University fee. When Students finish their study and get a job, they are bound to pay back the loan. This way the fund can grow and be of service for more people.

Many young people who come from a poor background like to improve their and their family's situation by studying and thus be able to get a well payed job that benefits both them and their family. However, many of them are struggling to find the financial needs to do so. This is our target group.

Very often those youngsters are able to find themselves a place to live and a small job that is sufficient for their daily needs. But the university fee of 7000 rupees is often the problem. 7000 rupees is equal to € 150. So when we save € 12,50 every month, a young man or woman can study at the university. And when they finish their course, they pay back the loan so another student can be helped. That way the number of students that we are able to help increases every year.
